Saw Butch Walker for the 5th time today. My boyfriend saw him for the 1st time.
He really only listens to death metal and select thug rappers, so Butch Walker and the Black Widows are definitely out of his comfort zone. When I asked him how he felt about it after, he stated, “That was probably the most talent I will ever see on one stage. That was also probably the most dedicated group of musicians. Every note obviously was thought about and had emotion. It was probably the greatest show I’ll ever go to, but it’s not my genre of music…
It was like having the greatest cup of tea in the world when you don’t like tea.”
I’m taking that as an awesome experience. He said he’d go again if I needed someone to go with, so that’s great. =]
