Hug Me Now

Sold my Fun. tickets for tomorrow night to a friend for face value plus the processing fee. My brother just alerted me that they’re going for $80 a ticket online.

Definitely should have thought of that first. Definitely wouldn’t have mind making a pretty penny on my misfortune.

Well I woke up to the silence. The cars were cutting like knives in a fist fight. I found you with the bottle of wine. Your head in the curtains, your heart like the Fourth of July. So, I met up with some friends at the edge of the night at a bar off 75. We talked and talked about how our parents will die, all our neighbors and wives. But I’d like to think I can cheat it all to make up for the times I’ve been cheated on. And it’s nice to know when I was left for dead, I was found and now I don’t roam the streets. I am not the ghost you want of me. My head is one fire but my legs are fine. After all, they are mine. Lay your clothes down on the floor, close the door, hold the phone, show me how no one is ever going to stop us now. We are. We are shining stars. We are invincible. We are who we are. On our darkest day, when we’re miles away, we will come. We will find our way home.

Seeing Of Monsters and Men and Fun. in April!

I’m seriously having the best semester ever.

Anyone going to the free New Found Glory and Fun. show in Philly Saturday?

I probably am. I have mutual friends with two guys who live in the apartment complex that look down on the venue, so I may just watch from the balcony, but it’d be cool to meet up with some rad people.

I was obsessed with New Found Glory in middle school and high school, so I’m excited to finally see them, even if I stopped listening years ago. And I have tickets to see Fun. at their sold out show in April, so I want to take advantage and see them twice since they’re lovely.
