This is from last week when I went to Cavanaugh’s River Deck,  but I haven’t been able to access my phone’s online album since then.
This is how cute I look when I go dancing.

Cavanaugh’s River Deck is a pretty nice bar with a good dance scene.

My friend Amber and I tore that place up. It’s so nice to find another girl I can dance with who doesn’t read into butt tapping and grinding. I’m a very flirty and a bit provocative with dancing to music that I know, and Amber was totally cool with it. She’s also great with shifting to beat changes. I tend to follow lead with stuff like that, and she knew what she was doing. Some guys definitely videoed us on their cell phone. Oh well, I had a BLAST

Lizzi, whose birthday we were celebrating, was wonderful as well. She got us to dance on the stage. Not gonna lie, we were probably the only girls with any rhythm in our hips.

2 guys hit on me tonight, so I’m calling it a success in that area, too. Also, one of Lizzi’s friends, who wasn’t hitting on me, told me I had the most beautiful smile, so that made me smile more. That’s probably my favorite compliment that I get.

Oh, and the shot girl was a dollbaby and we got to talking after when we gave her a huge tip for being so nice and helping us newbies out. (We both turned 21 in the last 4 months). She legit gave us a STACK of guest passes so we don’t have to pay cover ever again and exchanged digits with Amber so we can text her when we are coming and she’ll hook us up even more.

Super dollbaby.

Great night.

Going to the Phillies game.

I just realized I don’t own a single red thing in my closet. Woops.

This was my view while doing the Zumbathon for the National MS Society. Of course, there were hundreds of people on the steps with me, who I was facing, but you get the picture.

Particpated in a Zumbathon for the National MS Society in Philadelphia today on the Art Museum steps.  Our cool-down was to the Rocky music, it was amazing dancing while overlooking the city. It was such a huge rush. Plus knowing that my team was the #1 fundraiser and closed the event was great.. We raised $20,000. Total the event raised closed to $80,000, and there was tons of teams, so we’re really proud of ourselves.
Plus, I realized I can rock a bandana - gonna have to get one in every color, aha.

Anyone going to the Summer Block Party this Saturday?

Neon Trees and Eve 6!

I’m going to see how work goes for me earlier in the morning, but I’ll probably be there.

Sold my Fun. tickets for tomorrow night to a friend for face value plus the processing fee. My brother just alerted me that they’re going for $80 a ticket online.

Definitely should have thought of that first. Definitely wouldn’t have mind making a pretty penny on my misfortune.

WaWa Tangerine White Tea is back for a limited time.

Thanking the WaWa Gods for this.

I’m fundraising for a Zumbathon I’m participating in to benefit the National MS Society.

I’ve already made it to 100% of my goal in fundraising, but I’d LOVE to surpass it. MS awareness, research, and patient-assistance are near-and-dear things to me. My close friend’s mom, who is also my manager, was diagnosed last year without medical insurance. The MS Society has helped her tremendously.
I also have 2 close family friends of my parent’s who have had MS for years. One of them is 30 and showing no symptoms and the other is in his late 50s and been going down hilll for the last 10 years or so.

If you have even $1 to donate, I, and everyone who benefits from the National MS Society’s work, will thank  you from the bottom of our hearts.

I’ll also bake you cookies or give you a tomato plant (or 2, or 3 - I have a lot. Planted waaaaay more seedlings than necessary). Seriously. a tomato plant costs way more than $1, and I’ll give you a few!

The Zumbathon is happening on the Art Museum steps in Philadelphia. The more each team raises, the higher on the steps they get to dance. My classmates who have done it before said it was a blast, so hopefully I’ll be able to do it annually.
